At our school, prizes are awarded based on a brilliant performance in class examinations, the JSC &SSC Examinations, indoor games, and literary and cultural activities. One special prize is awarded for regular attendance at school. You will be glad to know that I got a prize for my brilliant result in the last exam. On this occasion, the school auditorium was nicely decorated with flowers and leaves, flags and festoons. Guardians of the students and the elite of the locality attended the function. The DC was the chief guest. The function began with the recitation from the Holy Quran. The Headmaster read out the annual report of the school. Then the DC, chief guest of the ceremony, gave away the prizes to the winners and delivered a short but valuable speech wishing the students to be eminent scholars and ideal citizens of the country. Finally, the Headmaster thanked the chief guest and everybody present in the ceremony. The ceremony was declared closed with the national anthem. It was a Joyous day for us and we all enjoyed the day highly.
