Bangladesh is well-known as the darling child of nature. Ours is a country full of scenic beauty. She has many eye-catching sites such as Kuakata, the Sundarbans, the sea-beach of Cox’s Bazar, the forests of hilly districts, the tea-gardens of Sylhet and some architecturally rich old mosques and temples. Our country is densely populated. Most our people are Muslims. Besides, there are Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and tribal people. We all live in peace. Here, people are great friendly to their guests. People observe various cultural festivals like Pahela Baishakh, Nabanna Utsab, National Days, Marriage ceremonies etc in a befitting manner.

Bangladesh is a small country but has many beautiful places that attract the tourists. She achieved her independence from the despotic and barbarian Pakistan in 1971. The land area of Bangladesh is 147,570 square km. About 17 core people live here. About 80 per cent of the people live in the villages. Most of the people of our country are Muslims. Besides, there are Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and Tribes here. She has it’s own culture and tradition. Bangladesh is enriched with many attractive places such as Cox’s Bazar beach, the Sundarbans, Khan Jahan Ali’s mazar etc.

The bane of my country is Bangladesh. It ‘s very small. But it has huge population. The capital city of Bangladesh is Dhaka. There are about seventeen crore people in this country. It has many rivers. The main rivers are the Padma, the Meghna and the jamuna. Paddy, jute and tea are its main crops. Rice is our staple food. I love my country very much.
